This auction is for a Telefunken 6FG6 EM84 Tuning Indicator Magic Eye Tube. The EM84 6FG6 tuning indicator, or magic eye, was used to display the optimum tuning point of a receiver, or the recording level of a tape recorder. The main benefit in reception was for FM radio where the exact tuning point was harder to determine than for AM. It has gray metal plates, one top round getter and is in excellent clean condition. It tested good @ 85. This a vintage MADE IN WEST GERMANY Voice of Music tube. It also has a backwards 21 betwwen the pins on the bottom glass. Tubes are checked for filament, shorts and emission value. Minimum Emission is 70 and max is 130. This tube passed all tests. I also let the tubes I test warm up for 5 minutes to get an accurate reading. This tube has pinched waist and has the code 7876301.
