| Tennyson's Poetical Works. London Eyre & Spottiswoode. This book is similar to the Oxford Miniature Editions published in the late 1800 and early 1900s. A miniature book, about 1.75 x 2 inches, 1,035 pages. The unique feature is that it his a hallmarked sterling cover with an image of Tennyson along with his date of birth and death chased into it. According to the hallmark it was made in London in 1905. There is what appears to be a makers mark, a simple "W" but I could not match it to any of the London silversmiths of the time period. There is also some sort of serial number, Rd458095. The book is leather with gilt title. The first 4 pages of the book are missing otherwise it is in good plus condition. All edges gilt, rounded corners. Quite unusual and scarce. ••••••••••••••••••• SHIPPING - In US: The cost of Media Mail shipping for most books within the U.S. is $4.00.
