This Thai Khim instrument comes in shape of popular
“Kang Moo” means "square" or "trapezoid." Thai musician
craftsmen handcraft the body of this top model. Thai Khim
and its sleek cover from local rosewood and lacquered to
brilliant perfection.

The Khim (pronounced "kim," with a rising tone, in Thai) is
a hammered dulcimer from Thailand and Cambodia by
introduction of China where a similar (though usually
larger) instrument is called yangqin.  Thai Khim is
known to produce a significantly softer sound.

Thai Khim can be used as both
a solo and ensemble instrument.
This delicate-tone unusual
instrument can add an atmos-
pheric edge to all kinds of
production, from film scoring
to ambient sounds aping to
folk and also various occasions.

This model has 42 quality stainless
strings, played by striking them
with two flexible bamboo sticks
that have soft leather tips and a
convenient tuning key.
We give two sets of bamboo
sticks with this offer.  The set is
also included a three part stand
which is easily assembled.  You
can play the beautiful sound of
Thai Khim  on the stand or
without taking out from the box.
Note and instruction handbook
is also provided).  Thai Khim
and all accessories are put in
the sturdy carrying leather case.
