Large and comprehensive cookbook with recipes for all types of foods, including French Recipes and Food for Invalids.  Also includes a section on Canning, Preserving, and Jelly Making.   

Publishing Flaw:  There are several pages (about 2/3rds of the way through book) that were cut incorrectly, resulting in the top of 1 page appearing upside down at the top of another page.  (For example, a small portion of the top of page 567 is upside down at the top of page 576.)

Condition:  Used book.  Looks like it has had a lot of use.  Covers have separated at spine edge and been secured with green tape.  Binding is showing (at title page).  Cover wear consistent with age; extensive wear on corners & edges.  Name in pencil on title page.  Some food spattering/soiling of some pages.  Aging of pages and inside covers.  More noticeable food spattering and extensive aging on outer edges (with book closed, looking at outer edges of pages compressed together).  Corners of a few pages are folded down.
