MY GEAR REVIEW:

PROS: This is the hammock I throw in when I want to go as light as possible. Not only is it light but I am amazed at how small it packs down. With the quick hanging ropes that come free with this hammock it can be set up in less than 20 seconds. This is a very breathable hammock and perfect for hot weather outings. I have found that this hammock dries more quickly than any other that I have tested. Two years ago I was on an expedition in the grand canyon. Ten miles into the expedition a stomach flu hit me like a brick wall. I happened to bring an ultralight hammock with me and set it up in the shade. For the next five days that hammock was my best friend! The tent was too hot and stale, but the hammock was open, breezy and just right. Because it dries so fast this hammock works great for water trips when I will be frequently getting in and out of the water and relaxing between swims. This hammock also comes in a good selection of colors and prints for guys and girls. For this awesome price and a 10 year warranty you can't go wrong on this one!

Cons: * This hammock has a 250lb(113kg) weight limit so if you are close to that or bigger or plan to sit two at a time this is not the hammock for you. If this is the case check out my other hammocks that have a 400lb(181kg) weight limit.

*This is a little breezy for winter camping. Check out the hybrid hammock in this case which is waterproof and blocks the wind.

*No bug protection. If you plan on camping where there are pesky bugs, mosquitos, or no-see-ums, then you need to check out my Ultralight Skeeter Beeter or my Skeeter Beeter Pro.
