Movie description
It's the 1970s, and two slacker buddies, Jay and the overweight "Mt. Rushmore" (played by Jorge Garcia of LOST), crash a wedding party where they run into their high-school rivals, a group of jocks. By the end of the night, a jock has been stabbed to death--with Mt. Rushmore as the main suspect--and Jay has begun an unlikely romance with one of the beautiful popular girls. The soundtrack and 1970s décor is perfectly selected, making the film a lesser, but still entertaining, cousin to Richard Linklater's DAZED AND CONFUSED. Executive producer Kelsey Grammer (of FRAISER fame) also plays a part as Jay's uncool dad.
