Movie description
Michael Mann's debut feature is a story about striving for greatness even when there is no chance to succeed. Murphy (Peter Strauss) is a hardened convict serving a sentence for murder. The world of prison is breaking him down day by day, but Murphy finds hope in long distance running and attempts to compete for the Olympics while still a prisoner. THE JERICHO MILE was originally produced for television.
