You are bidding on several pieces of classical video game history. The year was 1998, right around the Thanksgiving holiday. There was something very special about that year... it was the year that Link jumped into 64 bit three dimensional glory and made his debut on a system known to everyone as the N64 console. It was the last time that Link and Princess Zelda would make an appearance on a traditional cartridge based system, but they did not disappoint. In fact, some may say that the N64 title, The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time was perhaps the best Action Adventure / RPG of it's time and by far one of the first uniquely collectible games.

I can remember placing a $5.00 deposit and preorder for the game at my local EB store. It gauranteed me the Gold covered cartridge as well as a grab bag of EB exclusives. Inside that grab-bag was the official PRIMA strategy guide, two posters, some discount coupons, and some very very COOL Zelda tatoo's. This all came wrapped in a nice gold baggy with the Zelda logo on the front of the bag (see pictures). When I got home that morning on 11/23/98, I was just a bit ecstatic to open into my copy of this SUPER hyped gaminig phenomenon. I carefully cut a slit in the top cellophane of the game box to keep the box just as pristine and shiny as it is today, gold shimmering perfection as if it was a shard of illustrious TRI-FORCE shaved by the corner of the MASTER SWORD itself. I carefully removed the cartridge and placed it firmly into my N64.... Some 9 hours later I was still at the pond, just trying to land that monster fish so I could gain another segment of heart container. You see, this was one of the first video games to give its player free range... don't feel like saving the princess, no problem. Sit by the lake and fish. Chase ghosts in the fields. Or, just ride your horse around and explore HYRULE.

Okay... enough about this spectacular game. Here is everything that I am including in this AWESOME auction.

Believe me when I tell you that you would be hard pressed to find a used copy that has been kept in such prestine condition. The Games you will get are indeed The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Both are in SUPERB condition and have all of their original content including:

1. Two awesomely spectacular N64 Zelda titles: A) The Ocarina of Time, and B) Majora's Mask (kinda like groundhog day for elves)

2. All orginal inserts / Instruction manuel / posters / maps etc...

3. Mint Condition box - pristine with the original plastic wrapping still on the outside of the box to protect its original greatness.

4 The aforementioned Electronics Boutique exclusive goody bag (contents are as follows: One good condition PRIMA official strategy guide, tatoo's / stickers / two posters / original coupon vouchers for mail away nintendo map of hyrule / gold plastic baggie from the EB store)

These games have been in storage for years. I took both of them and carefully cleaned the cartridge and then fired up my old N64 and verified that they were in perfect playable condition. The cartridges are in excellent physical shape as well with almost no signs of scuffs to the golden shells. This is truly an auction for the little green elf in all of us!
