This is The Life And Death Of Peter Sellers. This is a widescreen edition and it comes in its plastic case.

Unless otherwise noted above, all items include the DVD, the artwork and the keep case (either plastic or plastic/cardboard casing).  Sometimes it will come with a paper insert or the cardboard overcasing, and if this particular one has it, it will be listed above.  These are used DVD's, and sometimes these items are thrown away by the previous owner. As stated these are used DVD's that come from a variety of sources, I do not claim or make any guarantee that these come from a smoke free or pet free home.

All of our movies are in excellent playing condition, and tested on 3 different DVD players available. Most of our items are clean, a few may have been cleaned up to get rid of scratches. Do remember several things, 1, These are USED DVD's, we test to make sure they play correctly on the machines. Some machines can by incredibly sensitive, most aren't, but keep that in mind. 2, These are Region 1 DVD's meant for US and Canada only, unless you have a region 1 machine, they will mostly likely NOT play in your machine!

We currently only ship to US and Canada!

Combining orders:  We combine orders every Thursday evening for the week.  We will only hold PAID orders into the following week here if you wish to further take advantage of combined shipping discounts.

Items are refered to DVD's in the print, but are accurate for all my auction and store items! DVD's regular and Series sets are shipped in a bubble mailer, unless the quantity exceeds the size of the bubble mailer, then they are shipped boxed. We ship within 3 business days once payment has cleared.  We usually ship Monday-Friday, but we are giving ourselves the 3 day business option in case real life intrudes on the E-bay life!!!

Shipping rates are as follows:

US Bidders for Regular DVD's:

First Class or Media Mail: $3.50 for the first DVD, .75 each additional regular DVD.  Most DVD's are shipped first class but some 2 disc sets are heavier and will go media mail.  Choice is at OUR discretion so items maybe mailed media mail.

Priority Mail: $5.75 for the first DVD, .75 each additional regular DVD.

US Bidders for DVD Series Sets:

Media Mail: $4.50 for the first set, 1.00 each additional set.  Regular DVD's can be added to sets at the .75 each rate.

Priority mail: $7.75 for the first set, 1.00 each additional set.  Regular DVD's can be added to sets at the .75 each rate.

Canadian Bidders for regular DVD's :

First Class International: $3.50 for the first DVD, .75 each additional regular DVD.

Priority International: $18.00 for the first DVD, .75 each additional regular DVD.

Canadian Bidders for Series Sets:

First Class International: $4.50 for the first series set, $1.00 each additional series set.  Regular DVD's can be added to sets at the .75 each rate.

Priority International: $22.00 for the first series set, $1.00 each additional series set.  Regular DVD's can be added to sets at the .75 each rate.

****Candian Bidders******I am finding that First Class International does NOT always go via airmail....it seems to be a bit of a lottery as whether it goes surface or air, at least from my location please be aware of possible long delays in recieving items.  Only priority international is guaranteed to go via air.

Payment details...fine print.....Paypal is preferred for payment.  We do accept money orders, but no longer accept personal checks due to a rash of NSF and closed account checks.  Due to a high amount of NPB's we now require payment within 10 days of auction close.  On the 11th day a NPB will be filed and the item WILL be relisted. I have been fairly easygoing about this for years but its not fair to folks legitimately bidding.  I cannot tell you how many heart attacks, deaths, car accidents, deathly illnesses, missing family members, divorces, my dog ate my paypal account info, my kids bid on my items, etc I have seen from bidders.  I know my family tends to be a bit klutzy as well, but at some point I have to get firm....not heartless but firm.

Movie description
A co-production from the BBC and HBO, THE LIFE AND DEATH OF PETER SELLERS is a compelling dramatization of the late comic actor's life. Geoffrey Rush (SHINE) stars as Sellers, delivering a remarkable performance that deftly vacillates between the light and dark sides of Sellers' personality. Diving headlong into his character, Rush portrays Sellers' many cinematic triumphs--including a wonderful turn as bumbling detective Inspector Clouseau--as well as offering a harrowing glimpse into his personal life. Taking his radio work with THE GOON SHOW as a starting point, director Stephen Hopkins traces Sellers descent into the hands of his own personal demons. Illustrating how Sellers' relationship with his mother deeply affected him, Hopkins' film progresses to show how his personal failings began to get the better of him. Known for having an uncontrollable temper and succumbing to many bouts of selfish, and explosively violent, temper-tantrums, Sellers hit some remarkable low points in his life. Talking of "dark nights of the soul" may have become something of a cliche when discussing the private lives of cinematic funnymen, but the beatings that Sellers meted out to several of his wives should be classified as just that. Ultimately, THE LIFE AND DEATH OF PETER SELLERS is an unflinching portrait of a highly schizophrenic performer who couldn't bring even a modicum of the happiness he gave to millions of people on the cinema screen into his personal life. Despite his talent, it becomes hard, if not impossible, to warm to Sellers, with Hopkins leaving little room for remorse for the late actor, who died from a heart attack in his 54th year.
