This famous little boy from literature is the R. John Wright gorgeous felt Centenary Edition Little Prince doll, 17" tall. Mr. Wright created this special doll to commemorate the centenary birthday of author, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, who wrote the world-reknown existential story, The Little Prince. This gorgeous boy is made of molded felt, fully jointed, with hand painted features. He has a hand-knotted mohair wig. He is dressed in felt suit, coat and boots, and holds a custom-made toy sword. This doll comes in his original box and is one of a limited edition of 1000. His COA is dated March 16, 2001. This little guy has been displayed very seldom, just on special occasions. As a bonus gift, our Little Prince comes with a special pet fox, as shown in the photos, a fun addition for your display. Doll is mint condition; mint in box.
