LONE RANGER, THE - U.S. Lobby Card (11 x 14). The 1956 Stuart Heisler cowboy western ("Hi-Yo Silver!"; "Thunders to the motion picture screen!"; "America's beloved masked rider and his faithful Indian companion, Tonto in a blazing new story!"; "It's all new! His first feature-length picture -- in WarnerColor"; "First time on the big, wide motion picture screen!"; adapted from the classic TV show that starred the same actors) starring Clayton Moore (in the title role as The Lone Ranger; "The Lone Ranger Himself"), Jay Silverheels (as Tonto; "Tonto Himself"), Lyle Bettger, Bonita Granville, and Perry Lopez.

Lobby Cards measure 11" x 14" and were usually printed in sets of 8 on heavy card stock (some lower budget movies only had a set of 4, while some movies had a set of 9). Many lobby card sets (usually pre-1970 sets) have a "title card". A title card often has artwork that is different from the other cards in the set and may include credits from the movie. The artwork on the title card is often similar to the artwork on one of the styles of the half-sheet poster. It is often difficult to find complete lobby card sets from pre-1970 movies, since many of these sets have been broken up and sold by the individual card.

Near Mint (NM) is a poster that appears fresh and lightly used, with saturated colors. Folded posters may show very minimal wear at the folds. The posters should have no holes, no tears and no paper loss.

Very Fine is a poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have one or more general signs of use such as slight fold separation, fold wear, pin holes, or very minor tears.

Fine (F) is a poster with good color and a very presentable overall appearance. It may have tears, slight paper loss, pin holes, minor stains and some fold separation.

Very Good (VG) is a poster with either bright or only slightly faded color and presentable overall appearance. It may have some paper loss, staining, writing in unobtrusive places, tears, pin holes, fold separation and tape supporting the back of the poster.

Good (G) is an average poster showing general signs of age wear, which may have some color fading, paper loss, staining, writing, tears, pin holes, fold separation, tape, tape stains, signs of aged paper and need restoration.

Fair (FR) is a below average poster showing significant signs of use and age, which may have some color fading, paper loss, staining, writing, tears, pin holes, fold separation, tape, tape stains, signs of aged paper and definitely needing significant restoration.

Poor (P) is a poster that is in dire need of restoration.
