Marx Brothers - VHS

The 5 brothers with the peculiar names succeeded in every medium from vaudeville to Broadway, from radio to the silver screen. Their unique style of humor set a zany new definition for comedy. Born before the turn-of-the-century, the five sons of a New York tailor set out early in life on their road to stardom.

  • Groucho began his career in1905 at the age of 15.
  • Chico and Harpo were both musicians and joined Grocho on stage.
  • Gummo and Zeppo were both singers and provided the team with a straight man.

In this hour long narrative, you will learn all about the brothers and their rise to fame. See rare, never-before-seen and "Lost" footage from their films, TV pilots, TV commercials, solo appearances, family movies and photos from the family album. This unprecedented tribute gives you insight into what made the Marx Brothers one of America's favorite comedy teams.
