This is two DVDs of nonexclusive Royalty Free Stock Footage of a Mockingbirds nest.
The First DVD data disc has over 19 minutes of the nest totaling over
4 Gigabytes of DV AVI video footage taped in 2008.
The Second DVD data disc has another 19 minutes of clips.
Disc 2 contains 4 more Gigabytes of Mockingbirds and their nest.
This set of stock footage clips comes with a short story.
Every year at the end of April, Mockingbirds give birth to
a nest full of babies. This set of stock footage data discs
has select clips from a three day period shot observing a
Mockingbird nest. the footage includes the audio. The footage
was shot in an urban area so you can hear dogs and children
in the very far distance.
On The first day of taping I shot several hours of footage
of the nest from two cameras. All four of the baby birds were
in the nest. On the second day I went out to find that the
baby birds were starting to leave the nest and move around
the bush the nest was built in. On the third morning I
found that all the baby birds were gone, but a snake was
in the nest and it had the shape of two of the baby birds
in it's belly. I will never know what happened to the other
two babies. I would like to think they got away because they
were ready to leave the nest the day before.
After taping a few minutes of footage of the snake so you
could see the shape of the birds in the snake, I let him go.
He was just doing what comes naturally.
I might note that Mocking birds will attack you and your
cameras to protect their nest. I shot 8 hours of raw footage
and edited it down to about 40 minutes of action footage. It
is a good glimpse at a Mockingbird nest.
This is good general nature stock footage. Bird watchers
and video editors will both enjoy this footage. The footage
includes a pan shot up to the nest and away from the nest.

That's a total of 8 Gigabytes of footage on two DVDs.
Each clip is formatted in DV NTSC. Perfect for Sony Vegas or most other PC NLE Editing
Systems that use the AVI Format. Each clip was shot with a 3CCD (Cannon GL1 or GL2)
camera on a tripod. These are very large video files, You will want to transfer them to your
hard drive for them to play smoothly. This footage was all taped in Sunny Florida.
These clips are taped by Ivan Bridgewater, and are being sold as
nonexclusive royalty free stock footage. The Materials are not for
resale as Stock Footage. You must use the footage in some creative way.
