The Record magazine - Rod Stewart (1981)

This is an issue of The Record magazine dated January 1981.  This was an ultra-rare tabloid published by the folks that brought Rolling Stone magazine. Rod Stewart provides a  cover story with an interview entitled "Booze and Birds."

These auctions are being conducted by filmmaker Eric Predoehl to supplement funding for his upcoming documentary THE MEANING OF LOUIE, which will provide a comprehensive history of the world's most misunderstood rock and roll song- "LOUIE LOUIE." During the many years of research he's done on this project, he's assembled a significant archive of pop culture artifacts, including music magazines, books, records, laser discs, VHS tapes, and a lot of unusual memorabilia.
