The Ring Magazine June 1931 Nathaniel Fleischer Editor
This issue of The Ring is from June 1931 and it has edge and spine wear, creased at the upper and lower right corners, discoloring on the back cover, and the upper corner of each page, in a triangular shape measuring approx. 4 " X 2 1/2", is discolored from something being spilled. The articles include: Tax Foreign Fighters, Sharkey-Carnera bout Most Attractive Card, Factories of the Sock Market, Romeo Resurgent!, Fistic Cartoonettes, An Epic in the History of Boxing, Wrestlers in the Limelight, Grunts Groans Grimaces that Packed Them In, Memoirs of a Promoter, Tricks of the Trade, Peter maher's Wallop, Kid Francis Europe's Greatest Featherweight, and much more. I love the publisher's comment at the bottom of the table of contents box: The Ring is a magazine which a man may take home with him. He may leave it on his library table safe in the knowledge that it does not contain one line of matter, either in the text or the advertisements, which would be offensive. The publisher of The Ring guards this reputation jealously. It is entertaining, and it is clean. You gotta love it! 8 1/2 X 11 1/2 inches - see my other listings this week for more vintage boxing magazines.

Please don't punish the sellers because the Post Office, UPS, FedEx, etc. are all raising their prices for delivery due to the high cost of fuel. The post office adds a surcharge that is over $3.00 to any package larger than 12 x 12 x 12. And if it's really oversized, it could weigh 15lbs. but we get charged at a 70lb. rate. We wish we could do something about delivery charges, but it is completely out of our control. Now for the fine print: I also accept money orders and personal checks (please allow 10 days for check to clear). Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases whenever possible. Any item(s) can be picked up locally if you prefer. Please pick up items within 2 weeks of purchase, and payment must have already cleared before your purchase can be released. Signature delivery required for values over $250.00. Heavy weight and oversize packages incur additional shipping charges from all carriers. REFUND POLICY CLEARLY STATES NO REFUND ON SHIPPING CHARGES (please read entire refund policy). YOUR BID INDICATES THAT YOU ACCEPT MY REFUND POLICY.
