Here is a great old book which was edited by Charles Morris. It is entitled "The San Francisco Calamity by Earthquake and Fire. A Complete and Accurate Account of the Fearful Disaster which Visited the Great City and the Pacific Coast, the Reign of Panic and Lawlessness, the Plight of 300,000 Homeless People and the World-wide Rush to the Rescue. Told by Eye Witnesses ~ Including Graphic and Reliable Accounts of All Great Earthquakes and Volcanic Eruptions in the World's History, and Scientific Explanations of Their Causes. With Nearly 100 Illustrations Made Especially for This Work, Showing the Havoc Caused by Fire, Earthquake and Volcanic Convulsions". 

 Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1906 by W. E. Scull, in the office of the Librarian of Congress, at Washington, D. C. This is a First edition.

The book has 446 pages. The San Fransisco part goes up to page 181. The rest of the book tells about different earthquakes and volcanoes around the world. Some of them are ~ Vesuvius Devastates the Region of Naples - Great Lisbon and Calabrian Earthquakes - Charleston and Other Earthquakes of the United Sates - Volcanic and Earthquake Action - Active Volcanoes of the Earth - Etna and Stromboli, Volcanoes of the Philippines and Other Pacific Islands and more.....

The cover and spine of the book have seen better days. Lots of edge wear and rips. The interior pages are held together well. There are a few pages that have notes taken on them. There is toning around the edges.
