This is a the complete 6-volume set of the Chartwell Edition of "The Second World War" by Winston S. Churchill. Published by Houghton Mifflin Co., Boston, 1983. The Chartwell Edition is larger than the standard edition and bindings are a bit more decorative than the standard edition. 5 of the 6 volumes look near new--very fine condition. It appears the family dog has gotten to Volume 3, and the top portion of the spine is torn away. It is otherwise in similar condition to the other 5 volumes--clean, no wear, near new!! The books measure 6 3/8 X 9 1/4. These books can be found on other internet booksites for $40 per individual volume and upwards of $350 for the complete 6 volume set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will offer this complete set with the single damaged volume for the unbelievable bargain price of only $39.99 plus $10.25 S&H in the US ($4 for the first volume and $1.25 for each additional volume). You can buy this set, replace the damaged volume, and still be hundreds of dollars ahead!!
