A pre-cursor to Cabbage Patch dolls, sans faces. A very nice surviving example of the turn-of-the century children's picture book. Beautifully illustrated by B.L. Corbett, with color and b&w illustrations. Thematic sketches in margins. Verse by George W. Gunn. 12pp. Staple-bound oblong in red paper with front and back color illustrations, white lettering. Cover is creased, worn along edges. Fold rubbed and tender, cracking. Author's name on a sticker on the front panel. Binding is intact. Pages are unmarked, though with occasional smudging. Six color illustrations and six in black and white. Some dog-earing.
