Who Are You was released in 1978 and moved away from epic rock opera and toward a more radio-friendly sound. The release of the album was overshadowed by the death of drummer Keith Moon. Moon died in his sleep after an overdose of Heminevrin, used for the treatment of alcohol withdrawal. Just a few hours before this he was present at a party held by Paul McCartney.
There are two ironies with this album. The first is on the cover where Moon is pictured sitting on a chair with the words "NOT TO BE TAKEN AWAY" and the second is with the song Music Must Change which has no drum track. Kenny Jones joined the band as Moon's successor.
This LP was released in 1978 on the MCA label MCAP-14950. The vinyl is VG+. I found one surface scratch on side one between tracks two and three just below Roger Daltrey's right knee. The Cover has some ring, spine and edge wear. The inner sleeve is in great shape with no tears.
A second album won by the same bidder will be shipped together with this LP with $1.00 off shipping cost of the second LP.
