    We can't help it. Some people just can't get enough of these audio oral history CDs. They order "The Tanker Tapes" or "The Kassel Cassettes," and a week later they're back for another set.

    And why not? Some people pay $19 to $29 for an audiobook of an actor or an author reading a book, listen to it once and put it on a shelf. These audiobooks are the real deal, real veterans, real voices, real stories you can listen to not once but dozens of times. They're great in traffic-snarled commutes and on long solitary drives.

    And while many of the themes are similar, every veteran's story is different.     All in all, there are eight sets of audio CDs, 81 CDs in all. More than 80 hours of great stories captured on tape and transferred to CD.
