This spectacular mala is handmade in Nepal. The long mala measures 28 inches in total length plus the extra 1/2 inch long polished bead as the guru bead. The mala has 108 beads, intricately inlaid with turquoise and coral mosaics, for counting prayers. Each 8 mm bead has been hand-drilled and -strung, so they are not perfectly round like a factory made bead, and vary a very slight amount.
