Vintage Tibetan Slide Bead 8 Yak Bone Slip Bracelet - Carved with 8 Auspicious (Lucky) Symbols
Tibetan bracelet made of 8 yak bone slips, each adorned with one of the 8 Auspicious symbols (Lucky Symbols). To make a symbol, the craftsman first cut the yak bone into small blocks and then sand them down by hand; then the yak bone is dyed a dark brown using tea; the last step is to hand carve the symbol onto it. Making such a necklace requires a long and tedious process. BTW, the bracelet can be fastened by using a slide bead! There are two types available (choice is yours), as shown in the following pictures!
