These flags are more beautiful than the pictures suggest :) Because they are made of high quality polyester, they are made to endure well outside in the elements.

The vertical banner flags are called Dar Cho in Tibetan and are attached to poles using the cord sewn along the edge. These flags consist of five colored flags sewn together, each with a seperate colored streamer that hangs off of the ends. The five colours can represent the five directions, the five wisdoms, the five meditation Buddhas the five mental attributes, or the five realms of existence with the blue flag atop symbolizing the sky, followed by white for cloud, red for fire, green for water, & yellow for earth.

Each colored flag measures approximately 16 1/2" high and 19 1/2" wide without the streamer. The flags are sewn together and there is also a colored streamer tassle that hangs off of each flag. The streamers are approximately 8" wide x 4" high. The total height for one dar-cho set is approximately 6' 7". These particular flags have high quality printing on 100% polyester.
