This is a great old tintype style photo. It shows a cute young man looking like hes trying his "grown-up clothes" He looks to me to be in his late teens, early 20s. I like the bowler hat, and the rustic fence studio props.This tintype has minor, normal expected wear, an area where there is some faint paper residue indicating an oval matt at one point and otherwise seems in overall good condition for its age. It measures approx. 3.5"x2.25". There is no id, date or attribution for this tintype. The fact that this is a tintype, the style of the clothing, etc. suggests to me a post Civil War Ear of c 1870s. Since this is a tintype, there is no negative, so if you would like a vintage example of this tintype, you will need to get it here. I am pleased to offer this intriguing and historic image for consideration. Check out my other items!
