After speaking with Masterpiece eyes today, they told me that because the size of the eye is so small, the color looks a shade darker than the photos. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but when you are ready to go to the next level, they are here! The tiny ones are almost twice what the larger sizes cost but they are worth it!!! I will be listing several colors in size 6/7 and 7/8 in the next 2 days. The iris's are about 4mm and the whites are quite large but are trimable for those of us who use polymer clay. These beautiful eyes will withstand our temperatures BUT you need to be sure your oven thermometer is correct and you do not overbake. I used 2 thermometers and hover over the oven but I was so pleased with the final results! These will be perfect for your next larger polymer fairy or pose able doll! Of course they can be used for porcelain dolls, cold porcelain or the paper sculpt also. The Photos are used by permission by Masterpiece Eyes.
