This lot contains a lever Fusee pocket movement with large Bristol Window jewels, key wind and set. This watch was made for “Bailey & Co.” front runner to Bailey, Banks & Biddle. We see a good chain on the barrel and on the Verge wheel. The movement has a 44.2 dial plate and a 38.5mm movement plate. The movement is 13.6mm from the balance bridge to canon pinion. The gold balance wheel is 19.2mm diameter. The balance wheel has a broken pivot. This movement has the large “Bristol Window” white Sapphire jewels. The dial is good, we see only a few small edge chips near 8 o’clock and a small hairline below the seconds. There are no hands, we see the hour wheel and the canon pinion and the seconds post. This watch will be sold for the value of the vast source of parts it contains or for repair. Just the use of a single part can save a future repair. This is a good watch for the up and coming watch repair person to practice on and hone their repairing skill. This is also a good watch for the collector, dealer and repair person.
