The frame is solid wood 2 1/4” wide by 1 1/2" deep with a beautiful antique finish.

Do NOT confuse this quality S/N lithograph for the VERY DISAPPOINTING Giclee' on canvas.  The publisher of the poor quality Giclee has since gone out of business.  The Giclee canvas is NOT SIGNED by Tom DuBois.

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN MATTING AND FRAMING

Do you what type of materials were used in framing other art you might be interested in that you find online?  We do because all of our art is professionally matted and framed using acid-free, museum quality archival materials in our own custom framing shop.  Many times other sellers DO NOT know the materials used in their art, they just simply copy and paste text that sounds good into their auction.  We only use that  mats are 100% cotton rag that meets the Library of Congress standard for conservation. The mats are covered with UV light blocking plexi glass to protect the art from damaging uv light rays.  The backing where the artwork will rest is 100% acid free foam core.  The back of the frame is protected and sealed with a dust cover.  The original certificate of authenticity is inserted into a plastic sleeve and mounted on the back of the dust cover. The braided picture wire is covered with vinyl and secured to the back of the frame. This print is ready to hang on your wall and comes complete with a recommended hanger.

Are you SURE the OTHER framed Tom duBois prints you are looking at are MUSEUM FRAMED?  We are a professional custom frame shop and GUARANTEE that all our work is done with MUSEUM QUALITY ACID FREE MATS AND BACKING. One way to tell if the matting is WORTHLESS paper mats HIGH in wood pulp acid is to LOOK AT THE BEVELED EDGE of the mats. If you see a tan colored bevel LOOK OUT, the print has been matted with paper mats and NOT acid free mats. ACID FREE mats will have a bright white bevel as there is NO wood pulp used only 100% RAG COTTON. 

You are buying an INVESTMENT art print, you better make sure it is professionally museum framed or your print will be worthless and ruined in years to come.
