Back in the 1930's Hoods Ice Cream (Hoodsies) had Dixie Lids that you could redeem for choice of a Color Portrait of a Movie Star.
I have an 8 x 10 of Tommy Kelly. Selected as a typical American boy, Tommy, 12, is just that! Freckled, tousle-haired, with twinkling blue eyes, he is the nation's Youth, personified: alert, ambitious, up-right. Following a screen test, David O. Selznick, picked him from among 25,000 lads, whisked him to Hollywood in magic-carpet fashion, placed himin a starring role.
The back shows scenes from his films. It is in good condition. Has minor edge wear and binder holes. There is pencil on the front where someone has printed and written his name. Not on his picture, to the right of him. There is a pin hole front top center where this picture may have been hung up.
