The card pictured at top left (click image for better view) is the 2005 Topps Chronicles Last Second Heroics card commemorating USC's dramatic victory over Notre Dame in the 2005 season, a game many are calling the best ever played. The spectacular image captures 2004 Heisman Winner Matt Leinart going over the top for the game winning TD while 2005 Heisman Winner Reggie Bush looks on. The card is also on hard foil and refractor coated!!!
Topps Chronicles cards were never produced in large quantities and only one card was released each week, covering the country's top news event. For some reason, this card was offered for an even shorter amount of time and there look to be in the low hundreds produced. They are not available on Topps' website either. With both players not going pro until 2006 this great card will have the honor of being the first card from a major manufacturer for each of these celebrated athletes. The potential for this card is enormous!!! It's one of those cards with a special story that can just EXPLODE!
