The engine is a 20 hp Onan Toro engine. The unit is hydrostatic drive. 2 Wheel drive, with speeds up to 6.5 mph. The rear wheels are driven by hydraulic motors.

This is a very unique piece off turf equipment, it hand rakes the lawn cleans up the debris in one operation. The rubber finger reels are belt driven counter rotating dual rubber finger reels. Reels rotate with staggered overlapping sweeping fingers the reel is 54 wide, it has rubber fingers, which are flexible. They work like fingers to gently lift the debris, wet or dry into the hopper. The hopper holds 1 yards of debris, and dump's from the seat.

This unit is fast and very productive. You can hand rake 1 acre of lawn in less than an hour. It’s great for cleaning up lawns in the spring and fall. It works great for cleaning up thatch, no more hand raking, eliminates labor.

This unit will dump the debris in a dumpster or back of truck or trailer. 

When I had a lawn care company up north, years ago I had 2 of these sweepers. They would eliminate labor, and generated over $40,000.00 in cleanup income. The sweeper is very easy to maintain. The cost for replacement fingers are $ 2.00 each. Every winter we would replace the fingers. The hyd pump and 2 rear motors, pistions and valve can be serviced by any large Hyd. Shop. Your large Industrial Bearing Supply, can provide you with the replacement belt, #50 chain, along with any bearings and sprockets.

This Toro came from thr county. The unit was used very little. I belive this sweeper to be a 2000. The hrs are 100 and orginal.  Look at the pics, you can see this Toro was used very little. The tines are orginal, 80 % life left.  This sweeper was stored both in and outside. The paint is faded and has scratches. The front brake is not working, old style drum auto type with master and wheel cyl. You never use it with the hydro trans.

The Toro sweeper does not work well on southern type bermuda grass, this grass grows on runners, the sweeper will lift the grass if you are not carefull.

However they work excellant on northern type, deep rooted blue grass, ryegrass, fescue, bentgrass type lawns.

This sweeper is ready to work ! I have used this unit to cleanup are lawn after some tree trimming. The unit works great. The unit is tight. The cover for the chain on the right is missing. Most people keep it off so u can lube the chain.

This sweeper was originally buit by Olathe.  Toro purchased Olathe in the Mid 90's.  Made a few improvements.

The sweeper was sold  by Toro for about $17,000.00

It is simple to operate. All the controls are at your finger tips. This machine is fast .
