A classic scroll design large jardinière - very rare.  From the mark this was made before 1910 and it is possible it was made during Collard's brief stint with the Longpark Pottery in the 1904 - 05 period,   

Made by the Longpark Pottery near Torquay.  .

7" tall.  8 1/2 inched diameter at the top
The diameter of the base is 5 3/4". 

This piece is in very good condition with no cracks and minimal glaze flaws.  It has repairs on the rim and has one small chip in the base (see photo above).  This is an unusual piece and should not be missed.

The base has an impressed mark and hand inscribed number 28 with the design number B3
