Toshiba 8TM-300SB Eight Transistor Radio

In Nice Cosmetic and Working Condition

This is a Toshibe 8TM-300SB AM and SW Transistor Radio.  The plastic case is maroon and cream.  The metal grill is gold.  It originally operated from 6 AA batteries but the previous owner has replaced the battery holder with a standard 9 volt battery clip.

Size is 8”W x 4 ¼”H x 2” thick

The  telescoping antenna is missing its top button but it extends and retracts normally with no bends or kinks.  The leather carrying case is missing its strap but is otherwise in good condition with no torn stitches.  There are no cracks, chips, or melt marks in the plastic case.  With a 9 volt battery installed, the radio plays loud and clear across the broadcast band, although no stations could be heard on the SW band.  The battery compartment is clean.
