All models of the Toshiba Satellite P25 series 17″ Notebook PCs are stunningly capable and exceedingly powerful systems.  They were designed for discriminating individuals who wanted to have their Laptop or Notebook as powerful and fast as their Desktop, and would not accept anything less than the very best.  The user who can’t live without the benefits of a full-featured stationary PC will find plenty to like in the Satellite P25.  It is in every way the equal of a high-powered Desktop machine, but fully portable and can go anywhere you do.  We don't think you should try to take it to class because of the SIZE...IT'S BIG!

For starters, Toshiba has fitted the unit with a whopping 17-inch LCD screen capable of a dazzling and crystal clear 1440 by 900 resolution. It has added a pair of high-quality Harman/Kardon stereo speakers and enclosed a versatile DVD/CD-R/RW drive with which you can not only watch the latest Hollywood releases, but also burn your own home movies to DVD media. The Toshiba Satellite P25 is one of very few notebooks to deliver a true high-end desktop multimedia experience to your mobile world.  Moreover, the unit is blazingly fast. Driving the Satellite P25 is a potent Intel Pentium 4 processor with Hyper-Threading Technology for more efficient CPU usage and a scorching 800 MHz processor system bus clock speed. It thinks it's a dual core CPU because it has two logical processors.  Matched with this speedy CPU is a generous 512 MB allotment of PC2100 DDR SDRAM (can be upgraded to PC2700) memory (expandable to an extraordinary 2048 MB) and an NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 graphics chipset with 32 MB of on board and dedicated video memory, not siphoning off system RAM.

Other critical features include four high-speed USB(a) 2.0 ports and one USB (b) port for plug and play peripherals such as scanners, a camera, your external drives, game devices, an IEEE 1394 Fire Wire port for interaction with devices such as digital camcorders, two expansion card slots (both of which may be simultaneously occupied), two PC Card slots can hold two type 2 cards or one type 3, and an impressive variety of on-the-deck one-touch controls and exterior panel controls.

Road Warriors can have a true Desktop equivalent machine with them on business trips.  College students living in a small dorm room can take advantage of this unit's built-in CD, DVD-R/RW functionality and stereo sound, eliminating the need to purchase separate CD and DVD players.  It contains a CD/DVD drive and the electronics to decode digital video (DCD) media. The device may play manufactured CDs & DVDs, or it will play DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW discs. Cable it to a TV for display.

However, we will not refund the purchase price for any reason. Some buyers do not realize that this machine weighs over 9 pounds, plus the AC/DC adapter/charger, more than an M-1 rifle. It is not suited to be used as a classroom notebook due to its size and weight. Before you bid or buy one of our laptops, make sure you understand exactly how this category of machine is intended to be used. It is most commonly referred to as a desktop replacement. This is a refurbished unit, has normal wear, but has been taken down to the chassis, reassembled with any parts that needed replacement and thoroughly cleaned.

This is a used computer, torn down to the motherboard, all parts cleaned, CPU heat-diffusing compound, fans cleaned and unit re-assembled with OEM replacement parts as needed, and fully tested.  The photos are stock and file pictures.  Your machine has been cleaned and polished to give the best possible appearance, but it is a used machine and will have signs of normal wear. 

The new owner has a full 45 day repair or replacement warranty – If your machine fails we will pay the shipping to return it to us for adjustment, and you may elect to exchange your machine for another, or have yours repaired and returned to you.  We do not make refunds of any kind, and no claim for a refund will be allowed.  Your purchase is final and our warranty is for repair or exchange only!   DOA will be replaced immediately.
