Most of our auction listings offer "calculated shipping" and we do charge a nominal packaging and handling fee but do not inflate the actual cost of shipping. Most of our auction listings have shipping insurance as an optional purchase amount during checkout. For items with a value of $50.00 or more we may require the purchase of shipping insurance. If we do not require insurance then it is the buyers responsibility to purchase it during checkout. Mastered Sudoku? Sudoku got you burned-out? Try Kakuro, the addictive follow up to Sudoku, on this new, easy to read, simple to use, extra large touch screen! Kakuro consists of a playing area made up of filled and empty cells, much like a crossword puzzle. Some cells contain a diagonal slash from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. These cells also contain one or two numbers, called clues. A number in the top right corner is a clue for the 'across sum' and a number in the bottom left corner is a clue for the 'down sum'. The rules are simple. Using the numbers 1 through 9 without duplicating a number, fill in the lines going across and down to add up to the corresponding sum at the beginning of each line No digit may be used more than once in each sum. Fully illuminated to play any time, anywhere!!. Kakuro puzzle grids can be any size, though usually the squares within them have to be arranged symmetrically. As a rule of thumb, the more blank squares a puzzle contains, the harder it is, however this isn't always true, especially if it is a good quality puzzle. - Kakuro consists of a playing area of filled and empty cells similar to a crossword puzzle. Some blank cells contain a diagonal slash from top left to bottom right with numbers in them, called “the clues”. A number in the top right corner relates to an “across” clue and one in the bottom left a “down” clue. The object of a Kakuro is to insert digits from 1-9 into the white cells to total the clue associated with it. However no digit can be duplicated in an entry. For example the total 6 you could have 1 & 5, 2 & 4 but not 3 & 3. Sound simple? Be warned it gets hard and is as addictive as Sudoku.

Kukura can be simple and fun or challenging depending on which game level you choose. I started on the easiest level and have been working my way up. The challenge is trying to solve a game board and then NOT starting a new game so you can go make dinner, or put kids to bed. It is addicting! - I enjoy Sodoku, but I LOVE Kakuro. It`s great mental exercise, and a fun way to pass the time while travelling (or waiting in line)!. This hand-held unit makes it so convenient and I can change the difficulty level to match my mood. After about 5-minutes of trying to make sense of the typically obtuse english translation of the instructions, I simply turned the unit on, and quickly got up to speed with how to use it.
