"Tour of the World" Stereoview 6 Vol Set with Viewer - Keystone
Keystone Telebinocular Viewer with the Keystone "Tour of the World" Cards, circa 1935
Viewer has clip on electric light with original cord - the light is confirmed in working condition (Original cord should be replaced if light is used for any period of time)
600 stereo cards in 6 book shaped boxes. The condition of the cards is very good+, including both the photos themselves and the explanatory material on their backsides. The condition of the boxes ranges from poor to good.
The only part of the set exhibiting wear and age are the boxes housing the cards and the viewer. The front of the box for volume III & IV is loose and has some of the simulated book cloth missing. The box housing the viewer has the front of box detached. Someone tried to tape it back on years ago but I have not attempted to fix it... although I believe it is a very fixable defect. I have tried to show the current condition in the attached pictures. Please let me know if you need or want more.
I did not see any sense in adding many photo's of the the stereoviews themselves. I just put in one as an example. For the record, I have looked at many of them as once you start looking at them you find you cannot stop - they are addictive. They are all spectacular and the added light on the viewer really makes them stand out! The descripions on the back of each card are also very informative.
The Telebinocular does not have a stand and there is no booklet of the photo's included.
