Towle 43 Piece Chippendale Sterling Flatware Set

TOWLE CHIPPENDALE 43 PIECE STERLING SILVER FLATWARE SET

Beautiful Towle sterling silver flatware set in Chippendale pattern. Chippendale was first made in 1937, and is one of the few sterling silver patterns inspired by traditional Chippendale design, replicating the famous table leg. Each piece is accented by graceful curves and delicate floral designs at the ends. Each piece features "Towle Sterling Pat. 1937" and "Chippendale" on the back of the handle.

These pieces are all in very good to excellent condition with minor surface scratches from normal use.

The complete set contaings 6 place settings each consisting of :

Oval soup spoon - 6 3/4 in. long

Tea spoon - 6 1/8 in. long

Long iced tea spoon - 8 in. long

Salad fork - 6 5/8 in. long

Dinner fork - 7 3/8 in. long

Dinner knife - 8 3/4 in. long

Additional pieces are:

2 Large oval serving spoons - 8 1/2 in. long

1 Gravy ladle - 6 3/4 in. long

1 Curved butter serving knife - 6 1/2 in. long

1 Cold meat fork - 8 in. long

1 Lemon fork - 5 1/4 in. long

1 Small serving spoon matching the gravy ladle - 6 in. long

The set comes with a red felt and satin lined mahogony color wood case in good condition with a few small nicks that will not photograph.
