PLEASE NOTE:

There are 2 types of knife blades. The most current blade is the Modern Blade. If you look at where the handle meets the blade, the blade itself is very similar on both sides & flows into the handle in a smooth, graceful line. The older style is the French Blade. If you look where the handle meets the blade, one side of the blade juts out in a manner similar to a hatchet. The Modern Blade is slightly wider at it's widest point than the French Blade. 

Please further note that Old Master by Towle comes in 3 sizes: "Place", "Dinner", and "Continental". THE SALAD FORK AND TEASPOON ARE THE SAME FOR BOTH "PLACE" AND "DINNER" SIZES. The only difference in the Place and Dinner Size is the length of the main fork and knife. The Continental Size offers all pieces in each place setting in a heavier weight with longer knife and longer main fork. Please see the chart shown below for measurements of the different sizes in the Old Master pattern.
