Confederate Soldier Doll on Horse
No Reserve
This is a really great toy replica of a Rebel Soldier on his horse during the Civil War. The doll is similar to a G.I. Joe (maybe is a G.I. Joe) and is dressed in a Confederate uniform. He has a belt with a pistol in a holster and he has a sword and is carrying a gun. He has boots with spurs and a brown bag over his shoulder. All of his clothes are removable and fastened with Velcro. He is fully jointed, has a beard and his hands hold the gun. There are no marks anywhere that I can find.
The horse stands almost 11 inches tall. It is a gray, kind of felt/seude coat, with a black tail and mane attached separately. The eyes are plastic. There is a horse blanket, saddle, bridle and reins that are removable. I also could not find any marks on the horse. The soldier can stand or sit on the horse.
The soldier doll is in mint condition. The horse has some nicks in the felt and has a few spots where it has been handled. I also have a Union soldier to go with this that will be listed tonight in a separate auction.
This is a really nice toy and would be a great gift for a child or an adult interested in the Civil War
Thanks for looking, happy bidding and good luck!
