Trac Clipper Moped Front Wheel

Trac Clipper Moped Front Wheel.  Does not include axle, speedometer drive, or front brake, all sold separately.  Does include hub, spokes, rim, wheel bearings, and an old inflated but slightly damaged tire, and an inflated inner tube. 

     I've parted out a 1985 Trac Clipper moped with a Daelim M-56E engine and an odometer reading of only 01707.9 (or 1,707.9) miles.  The 1985 Trac Clipper moped parts are for sale at EdsSurplus eBay store.  Many but not all of these parts will probably fit other Trac mopeds.  This 1985 Trac Clipper moped was manufactured by Daelim Motor Co., Ltd., in Korea in April 1985.

Product Condition:  This wheel is probably barely functional, but it has various problems.  1. The axle does not smoothly fit through it.  I needed to hammer it out and you'll need to hammer it in.  2. The wheel rims have a lot of rust.  I would use some rust removal, maybe followed by a coat or 2 of rustoleum paint, to remove and/or cover over the rust before regularly using this wheel.  3.  Some of the spokes have some rust near the rim.  4. The old 2 1/4" by 16" swallow tire has some cracks in it sides and should be replaced.  If you ride it as is you run the risk of the tire breaking or even a dangerous tire blowout.  The interior where the brake fits is rusted, but presumably still works.  5.  The wheel bearings are probably worn.  Sold "as is", with warnings and caveats, with no seller guarantee or legal liability.  This wheel could be fixed, but it has multiple problems.
