Gorgeous Heavily Embroidered Silk Lengha from India!

Traditional Festive Clothing for a Splendid Wedding or Engagement

A dear friend of mine had been saving this set for her young daughter when she was grown but now asks me to sell it to help fund the family to travel to India later this year so that her children can experience the beautiful and diverse culture of the country which she herself fell in love with so long ago. The country of her faith and of her heart. This really is a lovely and very traditional lengha which I am very happy to list for her and also it is a very nice opportunity to help a kind and generous women fulfill her dream of giving to her children the priceless gift of visiting the Holy Dham....India.

I will try to describe the outfit as best I can from her kind descriptions and my own observations. Please forgive any mistakes which may be made in the listing.  

This is a very beautiful and festive traditional Indian Lengha for a splendid wedding or engagement. The set is made from deep blue silk cloth and features lovely embroidery and mirror work on the skirt, choli top, and matching dupatta. The lengha has  never been worn and is in great condition with no rips or stains present in the cloth. There are pink tassels on the ends of the gopi skirt, sleeves, and dupatta as can be seen from the pictures provided as well as pink embroidery work. The set is heavily beaded with matching designs on all of the pieces.  

This lovely outfit would be perfect for a splendid wedding or engagement.

The measurements are as follows:

Choli Top: Bust 44", Sleeves 21" tassels not included in measurement, Length 29.5".

Skirt: Waist 27" with elastic sides so can adjust to fit larger waist size. Has clasp and zipper on back, Skirt Length 39" tassels not included in the measurement.

Dupatta: Width 44", Length 87" tassels again not included in the measurement.

(Note tassels are about an inches and a half in length)
