Movie description
With TRANSSIBERIAN, Brad Anderson proves once again that he has an exceptional ability to craft a suspenseful thriller. Leaving behind the overtly Hitchockian style that made THE MACHINIST such an interesting formal exercise, Anderson this time shoots his film in color and roots it firmly in the present. Roy (Woody Harrelson) and Jessie (Emily Mortimer) have just finished working with children overseas as part of a church project. Before flying back to the States, they decide to travel from Beijing to Moscow on the Trans-Siberian Express train, where they meet two fellow travelers, the handsome Carlos (Eduardo Noriega) and young Abby (Kate Mara). The couples bond, but gradually Jessie becomes worried that her new friends are involved in drug trafficking. At that point, the web has been spun, and when the intimidating Russian detective, Grinko (Ben Kingsley), arrives, Roy and Jessie become innocent targets in a dangerous chase. Anderson's script, co-written with Will Conroy, helps to elevate TRANSSIBERIAN beyond mere thriller status. Without the suspense, it remains a well-executed portrait of a complicated relationship between two real people. Mortimer is her usual fantastic self, and it's fun to watch Harrelson play an average, upbeat American guy. Throw the always riveting Kingsley into the mix and you have a motion picture that is above average in every way. By the time the film reaches its payoff, viewers will have felt as if they, too, took a ride on the Trans-Siberian Express.

Unless otherwise noted in the line above, all discs including blu-ray come with artwork, disc or discs, and case. Dvds come in their original plastic case or cardboard/plastic case unless we find the case damaged then we replace the plastic case. We cannot replace plastic/cardboard cases and will be sent as they are. Many times paper inserts or cardboard slipcases are missing, if item has these we will notate in ad.

We do not sell bootlegs or burned dvds. DVDs are purchased from various sources in the US, and were originally sold in stores in the US. DVD's are a Region 1, meaning they were sold in the US and Canada for US and Canadian machines. If you are outside of the US and Canada and do not own a region 1 dvd player, these DVD's WILL NOT play in your machine!

In our titles we have a listing code based on condition of discs. Code is as follows: N (new, factory sealed) LN (like new), VG (very good) and G (good). We do not sell acceptable...if an ad is represented as such, it is a listing error, please email us for the real condition.

Condition listed in ad is based on the condition of the DVD! We do clean up cases as we can, replace cases when badly damaged, but condition of cases is not reflected in condition listed below. Our grading of discs are as follows:

Brand new: Is a factory sealed dvd.

Like new: DVD does not have any visible scratches to item. Might have a fingerprint or two if we missed it in the dvd rewashing phase.

Very good: DVD might have a light scratch or two, or a couple. We test these to make sure they play in our machines and they play just fine.

Good: DVD has been rebuffed to take out skips and freezes in the movie. Some might have visible scratches to see. We test these to make sure the movie plays all the way through without it skipping or freezing in our machines.

Scans shown in our ads are of the dvd. These may differ from what the Muze info shows.

If you are purchasing multiple items please read the following:

Bid and purchase as you would, do NOT go thru checkout for each item. Items cannot be combined once checkout in complete on a single item. Just use the buy it now, commit, then go onto the next item you desire. Once you have finished your purchasing then go thru checkout. Items will automatically combine for the discount shipping at that time. There are 2 exceptions to this...the first being TV series sets...they might not combine correctly for the correct shipping, the other is for international bidders (except Canada). International bidders you items WILL NOT combine correctly for the proper shipping amount. You must request an invoice, please use the messaging system. If proper shipping is not paid on the item, your payment will be refunded and an invoice sent to you...this just delays things.

Also...we ship items in order that payments are recieved. We cannot catch items paid for seperately, and they will ship seperately. We will not refund differences in what would have been a combined shipping if paid for and shipped seperately.

We will combine up to 6 days of auction and buy it now items. On the 7th day payment is due for all items. We always send invoices out on Thursday evenings for all items, but we do combine items periodically throughout the weekend. If you need an invoice sooner than these times, and the system is not combining correctly for you, please email me thru the ebay system.

You must make sure that your mailing address is current on both E-Bay and Paypal...we ship only to the confirmed addresses on these sites. No exceptions. If your mailing address is incorrect at time of shipping item will go to address on file at both of these sites.

Canadian and International bidders: Payment thru paypal must be in US funds. Funds must be converted to US dollars prior to sending payment. Also....please allow plenty of time for items to go thru your customs. Items can take from 3 days up to 4 weeks to clear depending on the level of items coming in. We always ship within our 4 day time span, sometimes sooner. Delays to international orders at that point are due from weather and your customs clearing. Please be patient!


Shipping rates:

To prevent us from continually rewriting this portion whenever postal rates increase, please read the following carefully.

On E-Bay....either in the portion immediately under the item title...OR...if you curser down to the bottom portion where you are to bid...you will see the BASE rate to ship one item based on what method or country you are from. An EXAMPLE would be: Arizona would see the 2 rates: 3.00 for media mail or 6.00 for priority mail, Canadians would see 4.00 for first class international or 20.00 for priority mail international. THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE!!!! This is the base rate you will pay if you are buying just one item.

The discount rates for 2 or more dvds are:

US and Canada: For each extra single dvd titles it is 1.00. For each extra TV series sets it is 2.00.

International Bidders (Including Mexico): For single dvd titles it is 3.00. For each extra TV series sets it is 6.00.

AN EXAMPLE OF COMBINING (EXAMPLE ONLY): Mary is from the US she purchases 3 regular dvds. If she chose media mail, she would pay the base rate, lets say that is 3.00 plus 2.00 for the additional 2 dvds, for a total of 5.00 total shipping costs.

For US bidders, insurance is optional. We are not responsible for damaged or lost articles by the postal service.
