This cover is designed to be a universal fit and therefore fits MOST infant car seats with the exception of Chicco brand.  It fits directly on top of your existing cover to not compromise the safety, while the hood simply replaces your current hood - all in less that 5 minutes.

The material composition is 100% cotton.  The hood is 100% cotton with a Minky (polyester) lining.  Fully machine washable.  How can't you love that?
