Hello and thank you for taking a look at my auction offerings. I have been collecting brass instruments for over sixty years and it is now time to downsize my huge collection. I am not a dealer, only a lover of fine jazz music and the horns used to play it.
Please feel free to ask questions about any item I have listed and also do ask your band director and repairman about the quality of the horns.
My goal is for you to know what you are bidding on and to be happy with the horn when you receive it and for years after.
Today I am offering:
Item: Trumpet
Made by: Conn, The 1000B Model
Approximate year: 1990-95
Special Info: comes with case and mouthpiece
Serial Number: S 73618
Mouthpiece: Conn 7C
Special Measurements: standard
Etchings: 1000B
Finish: __XX__Lacquer ____Silver/Nickel
____Wood ____Other
Condition of finish: The lacquer isn't the best on this gal, someone didn't take the best of care when it was outside of the case, or perhaps carried a loose book inside the case.
Playing Condition: She can wail! Nothing hurt this old gal's lungs!
Slides: are free
Valves: are good, good compression
Suitable for: a student or any player
Special Comments: This is a great playing horn. The case is worn and the finish isn't real great but the sound and attack and tone are great. Ask your band director about the Conn 1000B. It doesn't take a student long to get a horn in this condition on the outside.
Approximate shipping weight: __13_ Pounds
