This beautiful little painting is of Trunk Bay, St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. Trunk Bay is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is part of the National Park which owns two thirds of St. John. There is an underwater trail and a little island just offshore to make things interesting. Perfect white sand and clear water make this a must visit place in the Virgin Islands. 

     This is an original oil painting by Henry Breck. The overall measurment is 7 inches x 7 inches. It is mounted in a white washed, wood frame, ready to hang. A signature card is on the back. The artist reserves the right to issue additional paintings of the same subject. All rights are reserved by the artist.

    I have just learned that a U.S. Postage stamp of this very scene will be released on May 16th at the Trunk Bay Pavilion. It is a 94 cent stamp in the American Landscapes series.

     I'm on assignment in Hong Kong for a few months and the painting will be sent from there by First Class Airmail. It should take about two weeks to reach most areas of the US. Payment by Paypal only.
