Tsavorite Garnet is not a rare gem.
There are, however, many tones and levels of saturation, not to
mention inclusions, which determine the quality of each stone.
Clean gems with saturated 'neon', or 'electric' green color remain
uncommon. We select and purchase
only the cleanest gems showing top color. We then forfeit
between 20% and 35% of the original weight, re-cutting each stone
with care, to create gems which are superior to what is normally
found in the market.
