Tube 25A6 Power Pentode RCA Radiotron ST Printed Base

Here is one of many items from the estate of a retired radio, TV, telephone, and electronics repair-salesman. His name was Hugo Oliver and his amateur radio call sign was W2HQF. There are many vacuum tubes, others parts, consumer electronics, tools and test equipment to be had; I will be listing these in the months to come.

This 25A6G power pentode tube looks to be new old stock in its original box that is in very good condition. The tube is clean and lightly silvered inside; the glass has a silk screen branding of 25A6G inside a hexagon The white printed black base is not loose and marked "RCA Radiotron MADE IN U.S.A T6 LICENSED AS STATED ON CARTON" The plate is a matte black cylinder with wings running up the sides, tube doesn't rattle. I recently acquired an early 1950s EICO Model 625 Tube Tester and can now test some of the larger tubes I have had for a while. This tube passed all tests for shorts, open elements, and filament continuity. It also scored 76 out of 100 for emission; I have no way of knowing what a new tube is supposed to score. Tubes will be retested before shipping. 2 oz actual weight.
