For Sale here is a very rare & special, (numbered) limited edition, very large railroad lithograph print signed by well-known artist Tucker Smith. This print was produced in a very limited number and has long since sold out and can MAYBE only be found on the secondary market (like Ebay) !  We purchased it directly from the Union Pacific several years ago.  So it is guaranteed authentic!

This particular print is 22 x 40 (huge). The print is entitled "THE CHALLENGER" (a 4-6-6-4 type locomotive -- also a well-known & popular engine of the Union Pacific). There were only 1300 prints produced and are EXTREMELY difficult to find. Release of this print was April of 1992. The original "data" sheet is also included. Print is protected inside a HUGE original protective sleeve from Greenwich Workshop.

This is a scarce & unusual lithograph print that you rarely ever see up for sale, especially at this good of a price....way under what it's currently valued at!   This would absolutely make a wonderful gift for yourself OR a hard-core railroad or art collector.  Don't let this scarce find pass you by!

More on the Challenger Locomotive taken from a rr reference book:  "...The UPRR developed the first 4-6-6-4 type locomotives called 'Challengers.'  It was during the Great Depression of the 1930s era when anything was a challenge.  Higher speed locomotives were desired to compete with trucks.  The railroad finally obtained 105 of these Challengers which were used on most of the heavier traffic routes for either passenger or freight operation where larger power was required..."

This lithograph is definitely for the discriminating collector. Serious buyers only please.

This PRINT has never been framed or rolled, and has been stored flat in large drawer in its own large protective envelope from the publisher along with what appears to be the certificate of authenticity. Condition is LIKE NEW/IMMACULATE.

Please check my other listings.  Buy more than 1 item at the same time & save money on shipping. Buy here, buy now if you need this item quickly!

If picture is not coming through very clear, please email me and maybe I can send an enlarged scan. Please excuse glare in scan (there are no flaws on this print). Any flaws in scanned picture are NOT on item. However, if you have any questions, please ask them before purchasing.

So why not add this fine RR print to your RR collection, or just admire as Fine Art.   We all know how difficult & more expensive these ltd ed lithographs will be to try and find later down the road!

All sales are final, so please read description completely. And if you have any questions, please ask before bidding. Thank you.

I will be listing many other items so please keep checking my eBay items for lots of great stuff (which would also make great gifts)!2956888
