Twilight Strings is already capturing hearts of music lovers worldwide. Zakir Hussain the world renowned Tabla Legend - whose quote appears on the CD. Twilight Strings artist Kala Ramnath is the most gifted violinists in the world today. Her startling virtuosity and technical expertise is balanced by a rare depth of emotional intensity always present in her music. Recorded at "Swarlata" music studio in Mumbai, India on March 29th, 2007, this studio performance captures Kala Ramnath at her finest. Remarkably, this is a 'one take' recording without any studio editing or any electronic spatial improvements in the recording or mastering process, something rarely achieved in modern day studio recording. It captures two of India's most outstanding talents in a spontaneous and uninterrupted flow of creative music making. Yogesh Samsi is a rare gift in the art of tabla playing combining technical excellence and artistry and sensitivity in accompaniment. He is a huge favorite with audiences, connoisseurs, peers and mostly all of the renowned vocalists and instrumentalists of India. Yogesh had an intensive journey of twenty three years of training with his late guru Ustad Alla Rakha.
