Two first editions by one of America's most prolific entertainers, who died unexpectedly and suddenly aboutt 2-3 years ago,

Steve Allen, the books are "Dumbth, or 81 ways to make Americans smarter," and "The Talk Show Murders," both have bookplates,

signed by Steve Allen, Dumbth has a bookplate afixed to the title page and "the talk show murders" has a signed bookplate laid in,

it can be afixed to the book by simply peeling off the back.  The books are in excellent condition, both books and dust jackets, the

Talk Show Murders jacket has a small tear top left, near the spine, about 3/8 inch, and also on the other side, back top near spine

there seems to be a small issue, with the plastic cover protecting it, I can't easily examine it, but it appears to be either a small

tear or a small missing piece with the white background of the protective cover to back it up.   If the actual shipping and handling

exceeds $3.50 I will recalculate to include $1.50 for my time and material costs.
