Two (2) Spleen Medical Books:

(1) Surgery of the Spleen (1923): x + [2] + 347 pages, bound in black cloth with gilt lettering on cover & spine. Includes 72 visually striking illustrations. Hinges starting. Starting at head, 1 inch tear at front joint crease. The textblock is square, and the pages are clean and intact. Mild chipping to spine ends and corners. Slight panel and edge wear. Ex-library.

(2) Spleen Puncture (1951): xi + [1] + 229 pages, bound in sky blue cloth with lettering on spine. Spine and front panel are heavily sunned. Front hinge cracked, though holding; rear hinge remains sturdy. Includes beautiful color images, b&w figures, and tables throughout. The textblock is square, and the pages are intact. Light and sparse application of marginalia. Moderate chipping to spine ends; mild chipping to corners. Slight panel and edge wear. Ex-library.
